Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions, together with the details of your booking, form part of our contract with you.

Payment terms

The cost for our services is agreed at the time of booking and payable upon arrival at your site, prior to any setup or services commencing, unless credit terms have been agreed in advance.

Quotations

We reserve the right to withdraw or revise any quotes up until the time of acceptance. Bookings are usually only confirmed once a booking form has been received.

The customer or a representative must be available to check and discuss the location of the equipment during delivery or setup.

You are fully responsible for the suitability, safety and reliability of the power supply unless we have committed to provide our own power source.

Hire conditions

You will be liable for any additional costs due to extra work or equipment needed due to unforeseen circumstances. This will include delays due to unprepared or inaccessible venue/locations and or installing additional equipment such as extra power cables, safety barriers and or lighting to facilitate safe delivery of our services.

Sound equipment hire specifically excludes music and music licences unless agreed in writing. EventPA, its staff or subcontractors accept no responsibility for any consequences of the lack of permissions and or licences and the customer will fully reimburse EventPA for any losses incurred as a consequence of the customers failure to comply with all applicable licencing rules and regulations.

Cancellations

Should the customer cancel a confirmed booking less than 7 days before the delivery date, 50% of the agreed charge becomes immediately due.

If the hirer cancels the booking less than 48hrs before the delivery date, 100%of the agreed charge becomes immediately due.

If the equipment is incorrect or faulty we will do our best to rectify the problem as quickly as possible. We reserve the right to use our best substitute if necessary. If we cannot substitute an alternative we will notify you of the cancellation of the contract and refund any payment received, but otherwise, no claim shall lie against us.

Liability

We will not accept liability for the following:
(a) Delay or non-delivery due to grass sites that have not been cut, or the site being unsuitable or inaccessible.
(b) Late or non-delivery due to war, riots, strikes, industrial disputes or extraordinary traffic congestion.
(c) Late or non-delivery due to severe wind or weather conditions.
(d) Injury to persons or property, however caused.
(e) Problems due to you not obtaining appropriate permission from public or local authorities.
(f) Loss or damage to your property or equipment due to electrical faults or accidents.

General

You, your staff, customers or guests must not tamper with any part of the equipment.

If there is any damage to equipment, a full charge for repair or replacement will apply.

Prior to the commencement of the hire period, you must inform the company in writing, usually on the booking form, of the address and/or addresses at which the equipment is to be used. Transferring any of the equipment to any other location will not be allowed without the written consent of the company.

You accept responsibility for and confirm you have comprehensive public liability insurance in place for all public events.

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

The law as it applies to England and Wales will govern all contracts involving EventPA. Should any part of these terms and conditions be deemed unenforceable then the contract will be modified by the minimal amount required to remain valid and the remainder shall continue to apply.
